Office of Advancement
Welcome to the College of Medicine's Office of Advancement.
This is an extraordinary and exciting time for the College of Medicine. On the brink of its 40th anniversary, the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign is proud to be celebrating four decades of excellence in medicine, research and philanthropy.
The College has a reputation that is defined by the excellence of its education, research, patient care and community engagement. But excellence in education and the path to improving the human condition is not something that can be left to chance. It is a true collaborative effort that requires vision, leadership, preparation and financial support.
It is the mission of the Office of Advancement to serve as the medium through which this collaboration can take place. By bringing to light the groundbreaking research taking place among our expert faculty and bright students, the Office of Advancement is excited to share with the medical community and the community at large the new developments taking place on the Urbana-Champaign campus - whether that be through events, newsletters or special features on the College's website.
Additionally, the Office of Advancement is focusing its efforts on recognizing the world renowned physicians, researchers and professors who have dedicated themselves to advancing the College of Medicine on an international scale. As an awards and accolades liaison, the Office of Advancement always encourages all faculty and staff to allow us to assist them in profiling their achievements in the fields of science and medicine within and beyond the University.
Finally, the College of Medicine could not be the leader in health and medicine that it is today without the generous support of its alumni and partners. The Office of Advancement proudly supports graduating students who continue on to achieve greatness in their respective fields, reflecting the values and education bestowed on them during their time as students. Maintaining a strong and lasting relationship with alumni is top priority for the Office of Advancement, and the first step to doing so is by encouraging financial support and giving.
