Description
Two weeks of geriatric and/or palliative care service, in which students become familiar with a variety of end-of-life care issues, the therapeutic use of opiates, geriatric assessment, the physiology of aging, and clinical geriatric care. Students will work closely with supervising geriatricians and palliative care specialists on the palliative care ward at the VA Illiana Medical Center.
