Description

VA Illiana Medical Center (2 weeks):
This experience includes neurology clinic and in-patient
neurology consults, in which students will be exposed to
and become familiar with neurologic manifestations of
systemic disease, epilepsy and paroxysmal disorders,
cerebrovascular disease, neurologic degenerative disease
and movement disorders, and localization of central nervous
system diseases.  Students will work closely with the supervising
neurologist the VA Illiana Medical Center.

Carle Clinic & Carle Foundation Hospital (2-4 weeks):
This experience is recommended only for those students
who are seriously contemplating neurology as a career option.

Students will rotate half days with the Carle Clinic
neurologists in the neurology clinic and hospital. 
In addition to the traditional neurology clinic, the experience
will include some neuro-ophthalmology and neuropsychology,
as well as viewing EEG/EMG studies.
