PURPOSE: To define duties of the Residency Progress & Promotions Committee (RPPC)

POLICY:

1. Membership: The Residency Executive Committee will annually assign members to the RPPC

PROCEDURES:

Frequency of Meetings: Meetings will be held at least quarterly. Special meetings may be called by the Chair, at the request of members, and/or as needed

Meeting Agenda:

Actions of RPPC:

1. When a resident recieves a 4 on three or more competencies for a rotation, a letter is sent to the resident and copied to the resident's file.

2. When a resident is promoted or will be completing, a letter is sent to the resident and copied to the resident's file.

3. If a resident receives 2 or less on multiple competencies or a 1 on any competency on multiple rotations, the committee will place the resident in one of four categories:
