PURPOSE:     To establish post graduate year requirements for promotion

Medical Knowledge Promotion Criteria

Formulates appropriate differential diagnoses for complex patients

Demonstrates a growing knowledge in area of chosen career path

Formulates appropriate differential diagnoses for in-patients and out-patients

Demonstrates knowledge of statistical principles

Displays initiative to remain current with new medical knowledge

Develops therapeutic plans based on evidence or guidelines
