PURPOSE: The mission of this program is to prepare resident physicians with the knowledge, skills and attitudes requisite to patient care in internal medicine.
POLICY: Emphasis is on the humane application of scientific knowledge; preparing our graduates to acquire new knowledge and skills through life long self-directed learning; the cost effective utilization of public resources; the responsiveness to needs of individuals and the community; and the highest standards of academic excellence and professional ethics.
