M2

The University of Illinois College of Medicine M2 curriculum provides the transition from fundamentals of molecular medicine to integrating more clinical knowledge. Courses enable the student to understand and integrate the physical and behavioral components. Students study pathology, microbiology and immunology, and pathophysiology of the patient at every age and in states of both health and disease, as well as the pharmacological principles underlying patient response to treatment. The courses include clinical experiences at the level of history, physical and diagnosis, with inclusion of hospital experiences.
