As a faculty member in the College of Medicine, residents may visit the Faculty Staff Assistance Center (FSAC) free of charge. FSAC has many resources, including counseling services.

University's Faculty/Staff Assistance Services (FSAS)
FSAS specializes in working with employees and their family members who are experiencing some type of personal problem(s) that may be affecting the employee's job performance. FSAS is available to help clarify issues, identify resources and offer follow-up assistance as needed. This office also offers workshops and seminars on topics such as stress management and parenting.

Child Care Resource Service
The Child Care Resource Service offers workshops and training seminars for child care providers on child development and heath topics. Parents are welcome to attend these sessions for a small fee. Their office numbers are 217-333-3252 (Champaign County) and 800-325-5516 (Elsewhere).

The Department of Community Health has a monthly colloquia series on topical health issues. Their office number is 217-333-2307.

McKinley Health Center
McKinley Health Center provides information on their web site about work-life issues. Topics include health related topics, which are critical during different periods of the year, such as allergies, sun exposure, and alcohol use and abuse.
